Building on a successful scaled prototyping and flight testing program, Aura Aerospace has filed a Provisional Patent covering the novel features of it’s ‘Guardian’ aircraft design with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The Guardian is a unique Orb platform featuring a loading ramp, stand-up cabin, while being capable of takeoff and landing in high wind speeds and harsh weather. This represents significant capability for medical applications such as patient transport in both the Civil & Defense markets, as well as wide goods and personnel transport capability.
The Guardian was designed specifically to meet the requirements set out by the USAF Agility Prime AOI.1 under a Design Brief methodology.
