Performance Warranty:

Product performance is guaranteed within a margin of +/- 5%, provided all recommended conditions are met and supplied product instructions are followed. The specifications of your system must meet the stated specification requirements of the product, in order to achieve the same performance levels.

If your purchased product is not performing to it’s expected performance level, we are only able to assist you in your warranty claim only if you;

  • Have used all recommended parts
  • Have followed the instruction sheet provided with your purchase
  • Provide photos or a diagram of your system
  • Provide a video recording of your calibration test containing the following (which you should always do to verify the performance of any system you build);

Video 1: Power on: Note: NEVER ATTEMPT FULL POWER ON YOUR FIRST TESTS!

    • The aircraft or system secured in a rigid test stand, with complete user protection (i.e. a test cage)
    • The aircraft or system power on process (to hear ESC protocol response, or other audio)
    • Throttle/power input to 25% for 0.5-1 second, recording thrust/power output, current and voltage

This test allows us to diagnose your issues in a low power use-case. If required, we may also then need a second video recording to safely verify full power functionality:

Video 2: Full Power: Note: ONLY PERFORM AFTER VIDEO 1 HAS BEEN ANALYZED and RESPONDED TO BY OUR SUPPORT TEAM!

    • Throttle/power input to 50% for 0.5-1 second, recording thrust/power output, current and voltage
    • Throttle/power input to 75% for 0.5-1 second, recording thrust/power output, current and voltage
    • Throttle/power input to 100% for 0.5-1 second, recording thrust/power output, current and voltage
    • Power off

Following this process will ensure we can provide you with the best possible customer support and get your system performing to it’s full potential. Without all this recorded data it is not possible for us to accurately diagnose any potential issue with your product, with it, we can really help you.

If we are provided with a video recording as required, we will be happy to assist you in your performance warranty claim. If it is determined that the product purchased does not perform as advertised despite all conditions being met, the customer will be issued a complete product replacement, limited to the value of the products purchased. Aura Aerospace LLC is not liable for any costs associated with your time or resources invested in making such a claim, nor is it liable for any costs or loss of potential income as a result of any delay with your project as a result of a performance warranty claim.

If you build an aircraft or system using our products, perform the aforementioned verification process. Not only will this test and video confirm the airworthiness of your aircraft, it also enables you to get our support before you put it in the air, if there are any issues.

Warranty Period is 1 year from the date of shipment, covering only manufacturing defects, that may result in a potential performance warranty claim. Customer misuse, such as dissembling the product, dropping the product, incorrectly storing the product, or anything other activity beyond the specific, exact usage and safety conditions stated on the instruction sheet provided with the product, is not covered by warranty.

Warranty claims will not be accepted outside of this process.
